Engage, Ignite and Inspire Successful Student Learning (Part I and Part II)

Teachers today are struggling to recover and recapture more joy of learning, student motivation, self-initiation, and academic excellence in their classrooms. The awareness of multiple-learning styles has moved us away from the old education model of “one size fits all”. Lets take it a step further: Give your students the most essential tools for success––help them begin to understand and master their own unique mind.

The I Create What I Believe!(ICWIB) program, based on the pioneering research of former Stanford scientist Dr. Bruce Lipton, is an ingenious way to teach students how to self-manage and self-correct learning challenges at their origin. As these issues are resolved, each student’s natural curiosity, and desire to learn returns with enthusiasm. This program also helps students gain a deeper understanding of their own authentic nature––the real driving force for success.

The 2009-2010 ICWIB pilot study demonstrated the effectiveness of this program, especially with children burdened with learning and behavioral challenges. This two-part presentation consists of lecture, hands-on exploration of several activities, and discussion regarding adaptation and application of the activities and information taught.

You will learn:

*How current stress affects the mind and learning

*How early childhood experiences can impede a student’s ability to excel.

*How and why the ICWIB activities can help students excel

* Several ICWIB activities to help students reduce stress, and rebalance their mind.
